I have no idea how they do it. I mean look at these shoes, they have gaping holes in them. They were bought 4 weeks ago, and they aren’t worn on weekends, so that means 20 days, and the look like this.
I know they play football at lunch time, which is why he never eats his lunch. But is that enough for these shoes to have holes right through them?
Oh well, such is the life of a MUM that I have to constantly replace shoes, and t-shirts it seems, and no matter if you buy the expensive Clarke’s or the Tesco version, it doesn’t matter.
It’s not only the front, the back had holes too. We ride a bike to school, so t’s not a lot of walking either.
Anyway, I buy a pair every month. A nice, black pair. The new one has velcro on it as the last pair got the laces caught in the bike pedal and nearly caused an accident.
That being said, I have decided it’s better to buy a cheap pair every month, rather than an expensive pair every 6 weeks. My son chews through clothes and shoes, and until he gets a bit better at not ‘chewing’ through them, I’ll keep replacing them in the ‘cheap’ range. Sure saves me from justifying buying branded stuff!!
