Flapjacks – Step by Step Cooking

A family flapjack recipe that is so popular, I have to make some every time a friend comes around!!

Ingredients

Coconut

1 x cup dessicated coconut

Flour

1 x cup plain flour

Brown Sugar

1 cup Bown sugar

Dry Oats

2 x cups dry oats

3 x tbsp golden syrup

3 x tbsp golden syrup

250g margarine

1 x tsp baking soda

Method

Pre – heat oven to 190 deg. Celcius.

Mix all dry ingredients together.

Put all Mixture in a Tray

Put into Oven

Put into Oven

Put the margarine and syrup together and warm in microwave until the margarine melts. Add this to the dry ingredients. Mix well, until all dry ingredients are now wet.

Put mixture into a baking tray and flatten with clean hands or the back of a tablespoon.

Put into oven for 18 minutes or until slightly brown. Leave for a further 3 minutes if you want it to go chunchy.

Remove from Oven and let it cool down

Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.

Cut into squares, and remove from tray and put into an air tight container.

Stunning ans sweet flapjacks

Yummy flapjacks -so good you just scan't NOT eat the whole tray!

Will keep for approximately 6 days.
