A family flapjack recipe that is so popular, I have to make some every time a friend comes around!!
1 x tsp baking soda
Pre – heat oven to 190 deg. Celcius.
Mix all dry ingredients together.
Put the margarine and syrup together and warm in microwave until the margarine melts. Add this to the dry ingredients. Mix well, until all dry ingredients are now wet.
Put mixture into a baking tray and flatten with clean hands or the back of a tablespoon.
Put into oven for 18 minutes or until slightly brown. Leave for a further 3 minutes if you want it to go chunchy.
Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.
Cut into squares, and remove from tray and put into an air tight container.
Will keep for approximately 6 days.
