Pesto pasta

I have a lot of pasta in the house and I very rarely know what to do with it. Here is another pasta recipe for you  to try that takes 10 minutes to do (once the pasta is cooked).

Preparation time is about 10 minutes


Mix together 50ml each of extra virgin olive oil and water.

Add 1/2 a chopped garlic clove (i use a whole one), the zest of a lemon, 40g grated parmesan, 40g toasted pinenuts and a large handful of finely chopped basil.

Check seassoning and stir into hot cooked pasta.

Garnish with basil and grated parmesan.

Serve with pasta ribbons -400 g of dried tagliatelle.
