Pancakes are another way to get kids to eat different ingredients. It seems that different food wrapped in a pancake seems to be somehow more appealing! This recipe call from the Pancakes we made previously or store – bought pre-made pancakes. The reason I like this one, is because it’s a great way to get fish eaten, if the kids are not crazy about other fish recipes.


Preparation and cooking: 25 mins

Serves 2


  • 4 pancakes
  • 200g/7oz Cheese Sauce
  • 200g/7oz Tin Tuna
  • ½ diced red Sweet pepper
  • 3 tbsp Tinned sweetcorn


1. Preheat the oven to 200C, 400F, Gas Mark 6. Place the cheese sauce and tuna in a saucepan and gently heat. Stir in red pepper and sweetcorn.

2. Lay one pancake on a plate, spoon a quarter of the cheese mixture over one half of the pancake, and then fold over other half over. Repeat the process with the remaining pancakes.

3. Transfer pancakes to an oven proof dish and cook in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
