But we all know that Mums are seriously underestimated, especially in their monetary value. So, I got a lovely chap to send me (what they think is) the true value of a Mum.
Belvita Breakfast Yogurt Crunch
November 25th, 2011 Overall I like the product, it is well packaged, you get two biscuits in each foil, just the right amount, the rest don’t go stale in the box as they are individually wrapped which I liked. It also makes the product very portable, and for a busy Mum that’s great. I’d eat it again.
Pumpkin Cheesecake Recipe
November 24th, 2011 Yet another way to use up that pumpkin you’ve left over from Halloween or Thanksgiving, or any of the other reasons you have surplus pumpkin in your house!
Broad beans, Feta and crisp Parma ham with lemon dressing
October 21st, 2011 Broad beans work wonderfully with these bold flavours. Feta has that amazing salty taste, and the lemon cuts a ‘zing ‘ right through it all.
Coconut ice cream
September 20th, 2011 Gluten and wheat free ice cream with a twist – lots of coconut. Not sure if nut allergic people can eat coconut, so please be aware of that ( just in case).
Scrumptious scallops
September 19th, 2011 I never really ate scallops in a big way before, I must admit to not understanding the huge appeal. However, the other day I had dinner at a restaurant, and their scallops were AMAZING! So, in honour of them here’s a recipe to try.
Cottage Pie
September 14th, 2011 My daughter loves cottage pie – in fact, it’s what she wants for dinner tonight. So here’s a recipe I use sometimes.
Try it out and tell me what you think?
You and Your Tween: Help Your Child Enjoy Their Pre-teen Years
June 9th, 2011 ‘You and your Tween’ has some valuable insights on how to handle most of the issues, if not all, but the more valuable stuff, for me, was reading the real life experiences of other parents, from the Netmums site.
Cooking with children
May 24th, 2011 Little does she know it’s communication, and bonding, and family time together, probably 3 things she’ll hate to do soon, but she just thinks it’s cooking! So I’m going to cook on!
Effective teen parenting – communication
May 18th, 2011 Now is no time for “it’s too late” or ” the damage is already done” unless you are ok with copping out on your childs life. Get help, talk to other parents, listen to other adults, get advice, and work on it.
App for time short- Mums
January 6th, 2011 But I am ‘in happiness’ with the Intuition app. Download it , get your errands on it , calendar items, shopping list and Community stuff – it works! It’s easy too!
Seriously people, built by a Mum, for Mums – it ROCKS! Like someone was in my head!¬
Eggs Wraps
December 15th, 2010 I never thought of wrapping eggs in a Tortilla wrap until I saw a picture if it, but it’s a great idea. Kinda like a egg pancake. I guess you could make pancakes and do it with that too!
Christmas pudding
December 3rd, 2010 My Man loves Christmas pudding. He likes mince pies too, and so in order to keep him happy, we have both. I’ve already done the mince pies, ( more to come, don’t worry), and he’ll be getting Christmas pudding at the Christmas party, so that’s great, but if you need a recipe, look no further….
