I’m not sure that it’s the right way to go. I’m not sure it’s the wrong one. I am very confused about it.
I have two kids, and only one has a currency and the other doesn’t.
Don’t just let them flail about spending recklessly, and prop them up with endless funds from the Bank of Mom. That’s not helping them, that’s enabling them, like giving drug addicts a drug, or alcoholics a drink. It’s not a good thing.
My daughter missed her school bus today because she was watching tv on her laptop in her room. RAGE!!
I don’t allow the kids to watch tv before school, because this is what happens. They forget time.
They don’t get ready, and they miss things – like school books, or homework, or BUSSES.
I love sweet chilli sauce – especially over a soft cheese like Philadelphia. However, I’ve never really tried it in anything else other than a stir fry, so I thought I’d try this mixture and see how it turned out… It’s YUM!
So when in a tiff, or about to lose your mind, go for a walk and remember ‘Patience’. Maybe use it as your Mantra – and I hope it helps!
Every child is different. Don’t panic if it takes them a while – they will get it eventually. Just ask, praise and encourage, and when you eventually migrate to the toilet, get them a step to make it easier for them.
Parents evening are always a dilemma. Do you go in, listen and leave? Do you go in, ask a lot of questions, and request more information, or do you try to do a bit of both?
